These resting rotifer cysts are similar to the dormant cyst stage of artemia cysts and suitable for setting up a new uncontaminated culture. The resting cysts are harvested from a commercial culture that has been conditioned to produce dormant cyst. The cysts are supplied in a small vial and long term storage is possible in the freezer. Both freshwater and marine rotifer variants are offered.
