The new Handymag separator device is designed to be suspended in the Artemia hatcher close to the time of harvesting. The polarised coated cyst cases will stick to the Handymag. Before draining the hatcher turn off the aeration to allow any debris that have not stuck to the Handymag to sink to the base and drain the first few ml off as normal. The clean nauplii can then be drained off and collected.
