These Artemia franciscana cysts are specially grown and harvested under aquaculture conditions to maximise quality control. This strain produces nauplii smaller to normal cysts to allow fry to be fed on Artemia earlier than normal; this provides a head-start in the fishroom. This strain also possesses a naturally high HUFA content meaning they further enrichment is not required. For reference the Premium Grade 260 Artemia salina cysts from the Great Salt Lakes are larger and can normally only reach 260,000+ nauplii per g.

These are amazing and 100% recommend. I prefer these to any others and I’ve tried a lot! Low waste. More a less 100% hatch! Eggs float and shrimp sink easy to separate! Amazing!

Top quality

Fantastic hatch rate. There genuinely seems to be less "waste" enabling easier separation prior to feeding. Noticeably smaller nauplii than the 260 grade eggs. I could see many were passing through my 150 micron sieve so I invested in a 120 micron replacement. I have bought these eggs again over the 260 grade option. If you can afford them I believe they are worth the extra.
